2025: A Year of Change, Community and Milestones

If there’s one word to describe 2025 for us, it’s transformational.
This past year pushed us to make hard decisions, celebrate big milestones, and double down on what West of Camden has always been about: community, creativity, and that sweet spot where street style meets beach culture. As we look ahead, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the moments that shaped our year.
Saying Goodbye to San Diego
Early in 2025, we made the difficult decision to close our San Diego location. While it’s never easy to step away from a market and community we cared deeply about, the move allowed us to refocus our energy, creativity, and resources into what we do best, strengthening our Huntington Beach home base and growing West of Camden in more intentional ways.
Every chapter matters, and San Diego will always be part of our story.
10 Years at Pacific City
This year marked a huge milestone: 10 years at Pacific City.
What started as a move back in 2015 has turned into a decade of memories, locals becoming regulars, vacationers discovering us year after year, and our shop becoming a staple stop for anyone looking for something a little different in Huntington Beach.
To celebrate, we released special 10-Year Anniversary merch, created exclusively for the moment. Seeing longtime customers and new faces alike rocking those pieces reminded us just how lucky we are to do this in a place we love.
Collaborating with Duvin
One of the highlights of the year was our collaboration with Duvin, a brand that shares our appreciation for laid-back style, humor, and culture-driven design. The collab felt natural, creative, and genuinely fun, and the response from our community made it even better.
Collaborations like this are a reminder of why we love working with like-minded brands who “get it.”
Pop-Ups, Sound & Community Moments
2025 reminded us how powerful in-person experiences still are, especially when you bring people together around creativity.

A perfect coastal setting to connect with a new crowd and bring West of Camden vibes outside of Huntington Beach. -
In-Store Pop-Up with Motel Margarita
Fashion, community, and a cocktail or two. This event quickly became a favorite and showed just how fun shopping can be when brands collaborate. -
West of Camden “Sound Check”
One of our proudest additions this year. Sound Check is our own in-store pop-up series, which we hosted twice in 2025, featuring live music, DJs, and local vendors. It transformed the shop into a creative hub and gave us a new way to support artists, makers, and the local scene we’re inspired by every day.
These moments reinforced what we’ve always believed: West of Camden is more than a store, it’s a place to hang, discover, and connect.
A Strong Holiday Season
We wrapped up the year with an incredibly strong Christmas and New Year’s season, both in-store and online. From locals shopping early to last-minute vacationers finding the perfect gift, the support was felt every single day.
It was the kind of ending that makes the long days, late nights, and constant problem-solving worth it.
Looking Ahead
As we step into 2026, we’re carrying everything we learned this year with us, what worked, what challenged us, and what continues to excite us about the future.
